Die Sonne scheint, nur nicht in Barcelona. Es regnet, es windet und es ist nicht das beste Wetter für den Start in die Renn-Saison. Doch die Rennwagen standen nun doch wieder eine ganzen langen Winter lang in den Garagen und nun wird es Zeit diese wieder auszufahren. Mit dabei in der Gruppe CR1 mit der Startnummer 78, ein blauer Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0l von 1974 (9114609069). Am Steuer Porsche Legende Jürgen Barth und Michel Speyer. Aber auch etliche weitere Porsche Legenden waren wieder am Start. Vom Porsche 911 2.0 über den Porsche 935 K3 bis hin zur Gruppe C mit zahlreichen Porsche 962 versammelte sich auf dem Circuit Barcelona ein bunt gemischtes Porsche Teilnehmerfeld.
Leicht waren die ersten Rennen an diesem Wochenende nicht. Zahlreiche Wetter-Wechsel brachten die Rennfahrer und die Teams an die Grenzen der Taktik. Nicht nur der schnellste Rennwagen war gefragt, sondern auch viel Erfahrung mit den schwierigen Wetterverhältnissen.
Auch die Fitness der Rennfahrer war gefragt und so gilt es auch für die Piloten sich über den Winter Fit zu machen. Jürgen Barth hat das den Winter über mit vielen frischen Zutaten für seine Rezepte aus seinem Rennkoch-Buch „schnell mal essen“ gemacht. Zusammen mit seiner gesunden Ernährung und viel Sport kommt er dann seit vielen Jahren, zu seinen Höchstleistungen im Motorsport. Für das nächste Rennen in Spa-Francorchamp testet Jürgen Barth schon eine Woche später auf der Rennstrecke und in den leckeren Restaurant rund um die Strecke.

The sun is shining, except in Barcelona. It rains, it winds and it is not the best weather for the start of the racing season. But the racing cars were standing in the garages for a long winter and now it’s time to drive them out again. Also in the group CR1 with the starting number 78, a blue Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0l from 1974 (9114609069). At the wheel of Porsche legend Jürgen Barth and Michel Speyer. But also several other Porsche legends were at the start again. From the Porsche 911 2.0 over the Porsche 935 K3 up to the Group C with numerous Porsche 962 a colourful mixed Porsche field of participants gathered on the Circuit Barcelona.
The first races this weekend were not easy. Numerous weather changes brought the racing drivers and the teams to the limits of tactics. Not only the fastest race car was in demand, but also a lot of experience with the difficult weather conditions.
Also the fitness of the racers was in demand and so it is also important for the pilots to get fit over the winter. Jürgen Barth has done this throughout the winter with lots of fresh ingredients for his recipes from his racing cook book “racing and recipes Together with his healthy diet and lots of sport, he has been achieving his top performances in motorsport for many years. For the next race in Spa-Francorchamp Jürgen Barth is already testing one week later on the race track and in the delicious restaurant around the track.
